Review of The Walking Dead TV Series 6 Carol Peletier figure!

The Basics:
Scale: 5"
Price: $14.99 in store, $14.99 - $29.99 online

  Sculpt and Paint:
Carol has what is probably my favorite body sculpt from this set because there is just so much to look at. Watching the show, you never really get an idea of how detailed her outfit is. I never noticed that one sleeve hung lower than the other, or how many seams there were in her pants, or even her bracelet on her left wrist. She has a revolver handle molded into the pants, so unfortunately there is no removable gun there. Apart from that, the wrinkles in her clothes, even the texture, just looks so good.

The amount of detail packed into her outfit is insane. Even her boots are so detailed with all of the straps. Now her head sculpt leaves a bit too be desired.

See, I can see Carol in there, but it's not 100% her, and the paint DEFINITELY doesn't help I have no clue what happened here:

I mean those eyes will just stare into your soul, especially the left. I honestly have no idea what happened there, but what can you do. It's not the worst I've seen ( I saw one with her eyebrow infused with her eye's iris). The hair is also a lot darker on the actual release figure. I did lighten the hair on mine a bit to try and get it closer to the prototype, but it's such a shame because the head is the only thing keeping this from being the perfect Carol figure.
The paint on her (head aside) is fantastic. The clothes all have a worn wash to them and it looks like there's even some dirt or blood on her chest. I would definitely inspect the paint on her face if you can, because maybe you'll get lucky and find a great one.

Accessories:
Carol comes equipped with her mini pistol (I really suck at gun names), her bad-ass knuckle-knife which she can't actually hold (properly anyway), and her gas canister to expel all kinds of diseases from your figure shelf!

Articulation:
In terms of articulation, Carol has a ball-joint at the head, swivel-hinge shoulders, swivel-hinge elbows, swivels at the forearms, swivel-hinge at the wrist, a very limited waist swivel, swivel-hinge hips, swivel-hinge knees, and ball-jointed ankles.

Overall:
I think this is another great figure from the series, but unfortunately she falls short due to that head sculpt/paint. I still recommend getting this figure, because at the moment, this is the only Carol figure we have, and if you are a master with a paint brush, I'm sure you could whip up a new paint job for her face. Aside from that, the sculpt of her clothing is amazing, as is the paint, and her accessories and articulation are perfect for the character. It's a shame she didn't come with some flowers for your other figures to look at though....too soon?...too soon...
8.5 OUT OF 10!!

And that's going to do it for the series 6 figures that I'll be reviewing. Tomorrow we'll be looking at the Flashback Series Michonne, Saturday we'll journey back to series 5 to take a look at Glenn Rhee, and on Sunday, the final review of Walking Dead week will be on the Deluxe 10" Rick Grimes!
