Review of the Wal-Mart Exclusive Avengers 6" Captain America Figure

First and foremost I want to apologize for the lack of pictures in this review, Ive been having trouble with my Camera again so I focused on getting pictures of the sculpt and accessories, so there will be more of those than posed pictures.

The Basics:
Scale: 6"

Price: $15.99(in store) - $45.99(online)

Character Bio:
As a soldier in World War II, Captain America fought for the safety and honor of his nation. Now, as the leader of the Avengers, he fights to protect the entire world. Villains great and small wield earth-shattering power without hesitation. Only the original super-soldier and his team of awesome heroes stand between those ruthless individuals and the devastation of the planet.

Sculpt and Paint:

In terms of Sculpt, Cap has a really nice one. The suit has a Kevlar feel to it and the Star is (thankfully) a raised star and not just painted on. The boots and gloves have an awesome texture to them. The sculpt as a whole is great but my only problem, and this is small, is that he doesn't really resemble Chris Evans all that much, from the side, he does slightly but from the front, he barely looks like him. Other than that minor issue this is a great sculpt.
In terms of paint, there really isn't much as this figure is molded in his according colors leaving the blue and red to be very bright and vibrant as opposed to in the movie where they were muted. The only painted areas are all the silver accents, the face, eyes, torso (red, white section) and shoulders. Where there is paint, it is applied very well.

Accessories and Articulation:

In terms of accessories Cap comes with his shield that can be stored on his back or on his arm thanks to a new strap system that lets you choose the lenght, and  his Display stand which can connect and stack with the others (more on that in a later review). In terms of articulation Cap has a ball-hinge head, swivel-hinge shoulders, swivel biceps, double hinge elbows, swivel forearms, balljointed torso, swivel-hinge hips, swivel thighs, double hinge knees, and a swivel-hinge/pivot ankle.

OVERALL:
This Cap has gotten his fair share of hate as  a figure and I dont know why. He's great. Sure he could use more paint detail but as an action figure he is loads of fun!

Review of the Wal Mart Exclusive Avengers 6" Hulk Movie Figure!!

You guys have spoken with your emails and here is today's review!!

The Basics:
Scale: 8"

Price: $15.99(in-store) - $66.00(online)

Character Bio:
The world seen through the eyes of the Hulk is distorted by rage, a haze of violence like a bad dream. Trapped within the mighty frame of the Hulk, Bruce Banner is barely able to maintain control. And yet the Hulk is a hero. His immense strength is always turned to the protection of the weak, and the defense of justice. For while the Hulk may be rage incarnate, it is a rage that is always properly directed against those hoping to cause harm.

Sculpt and Paint:

The sculpt on this Hulk figure is really cool and completely movie accurate. Two things in particular that I really like about this figure is that he has one open hand and one fist as opposed to two fists. I just prefer it this way. The second thing is that the rips on the bottom of the pants aren't sculpted onto his lower knees so when you move them. The flow freely, it looks so cool and much better than other ones I have seen. The face sculpt is really good too. I think It's more movie accurate than the Marvel Select one but the Marvel Select one does capture more of Mark Ruffalo in it. The paint is really nice. As pointed out in other reviews he has a matte finish which makes up for no paint shading. The face paint is clean and precise. Kinda wish his fingernails and toenails were painted like on the Select sculpt, but that is not a deal breaker here.

Accessories and Articulation:

In terms of accessories Hulk comes with nothing (not that he needs anything) except his Display stand which can connect and stack with the others (more on that in a later review). In terms of articulation Hulk has a balljointed head, swivel-hinge shoulders, swivel biceps, double hinge elbows, swivel-hinge wrists, balljointed torso, swivel-hinge hips, swivel thighs, double hinge knees, and a swivel-hinge/pivot ankle.

OVERALL:
This Hulk is absolutely awesome. Probably the best we have ever gotten from Hasbro, which makes it a shame that he is a walmart exclusive. If you can get him for a reasonable price (I wouldn't go above $35/$40) definitely pick him up! Well worth it!!

Review of G.I.Joe Retaliation: G.I.Joe Trooper Figure

The Basics:
Price:$10.99-$13.99

Scale: 3 3/4

Sculpt and Paint:

You ever buy one of those figures where you buy it just because you think it looks cool, and for no other reason, but you are pleasantly surprised later on? Yup. That was this guy. I thought he looked so cool in packaging and when I got him out, it was just....wow....  I mean normally with me, I;m never completely satisfied with a G.I.Joe. I feel the need to swap certain parts but this guy..he's....perfect. He just looks so cool. The sculpt is awesome, all the wrinkled look in place and the detail on the vest and clothing is applied very well. The paint is applied well and honestly there barely is any. Its the shoes, neck, knee pads, and head. The reason I can't complain is because..well....the figure honestly doesn't need any.  Overall a solid paint and sculpt job.

Accessories and Articulation:

In the accessories department, this figure blows away every other Retaliation figure. He comes with a backpack that holds a gas mask a shovel, 6 guns, another gun that can be placed in his hand, two knives, a holster for them which tabs into his vest, a blue cloak, a regular head, and a helmet head that reminds me of Master chief from Halo. That brings the grand total to 16 ACCESSORIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND HE CAN CARRY THEM ALL AT ONCE!!!!!!!
In terms of articulation, he has a ball jointed head, swivel-hinge shoulders, elbows, and wrists, ball jointed torso and hips, double-hinge knees, and swivel/ankle-pivot at the ankles. Oh Yeah!

OVERALL:
This is probably the best of the Retaliation line so far and my favorite G.I.Joe figure in my entire collection. That's right, I said it. This guy has already reserved a spot on the figure list, for my "Best of 2012".

10 out of 10!!!!!!!!!!!!
