Avengers Week Day 7: Loki, God Of Mischief

First Thoughts:When I saw pictures of this guy i knew i had to have him. Tom Hiddleston's portrayal of Loki has to be one of my all time favorite portrayals of a comic book villain ever! The figure looked fantastic when i saw it and for $20 i knew it hda to be mine.

Sculpt:The ammount of detail in this sculpt is insane. Every piece of armor is movie accurate and that face is dead on Tom Hiddleston ( the actor that plays Loki) Now this is his costume from the Thor movie, it will go through a major change in The Avengers, a figure review i hope to bring you guys when its released. But i digress,the sculpt is beautiful on this figure!

Paint:Perfect paint job on mine but i had to go through a few of the figures on the shelf. The armor was fine but where you should definitly check is where the helmet meets the face to make sure that no gold paint bleeds onto the face or vice-versa.

Articulation:Swivel-hinge head, shoulder,elbows, thighs, ankles
Ball jointed abs
Swivel thighs, and wrists
Double Hinge knees
that much articulation on a Marvel Select figure is unheard of!!!!

Accessories:Okay, Loki comes with half of the base that holds the sword and sheath that he also omes with. His Fourth accessory, the Odinstaff, i do not have, it broke right out of the packaging and i tried but failed at fixing it. so here is an official image of the figure holding the staff followed by one of my own images of the base.

 Overall:I cannot praise this figure enough. An Amazing sculpt, fantastic paint, insane articulation for a marvel select, and four accesories?????????????? You'd be crazy not to buy this guy. Hes incredibly fun to pose! This review will hopefully show you guys why he was on my Top 10 of 2011 list.
